False Appearance. While the gargoyle remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an inanimate statue.
Multiattack. The gargoyle makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6+1) piercing damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6+1) slashing damage.
How hard a fight? Against a party of four, a single gargoyle is deadly at level 1, medium at level 2 and easy at level 3, and barely a challenge from level 4. Add allies or more foes in the encounter generator.
Where you'll find it: towns and cities, dungeons and mountains.
