Elemental Demise. If the djinni dies, its body dissolves into a warm breeze, leaving behind only equipment it was wearing or carrying.
Innate Spellcasting. The djinni’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components: at will: detect evil and good, creation (2/day), gaseous form, invisibility (self only); 1/day each: conjure elemental (air only), create food and water, plane shift, wind walk.
Multiattack. The djinni makes three scimitar attacks.
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6+4) slashing damage plus 3 (1d6) lightning or thunder damage (djinni’s choice).
Create Whirlwind. A whirlwind of air forms at a point the djinni can see within 60 feet, moving each turn and dealing bludgeoning damage to creatures caught inside.
How hard a fight? Against a party of four, a single djinni is deadly at levels 1–7, hard at levels 8–9, medium at levels 10–11 and easy at levels 12–16, and barely a challenge from level 17. Add allies or more foes in the encounter generator.
Where you'll find it: other planes and deserts.
