3rd-level necromancy spell
You touch a creature, which must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become cursed for the duration. Choose the curse: the target has disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws made with one ability score of your choice; or it has disadvantage on attack rolls against you; or it must make a Wisdom saving throw at the start of each of its turns, and on a failure it wastes its action that turn doing nothing; or your attacks and spells deal an extra 1d8 necrotic damage to it. A remove curse spell ends the effect. At the DM’s option, you may choose a different curse effect of similar power.
At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a 4th-level slot, the duration is concentration, up to 10 minutes. With a 5th-level slot, the duration is 8 hours; with a 7th-level slot, 24 hours; and with a 9th-level slot, the spell lasts until dispelled. Using a slot of 5th level or higher makes the duration not require concentration.
