Trampling Charge. If the gorgon moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, the target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength save or be knocked prone, and the gorgon can make a hooves attack against it as a bonus action.
Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d12+5) piercing damage.
Hooves. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10+5) bludgeoning damage.
Petrifying Breath (Recharge 5-6). The gorgon exhales petrifying gas in a 30-foot cone. Each creature there must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution save or begin turning to stone, becoming restrained and then petrified on a second failed save.
How hard a fight? Against a party of four, a single gorgon is deadly at levels 1–3, hard at level 4 and easy at levels 5–8, and barely a challenge from level 9. Add allies or more foes in the encounter generator.
Where you'll find it: grasslands and hills.
